Fitness Headquarters Giants Despair Challenge - August 24, 2011
Support foster care and adoption in NEPA
Fitness Headquarters sponsored their Annual Fitness Headquarters Giants Despair Challenge. The Giants Despair Challenge is only 1.1 Miles long, BUT it takes place on some very demanding terrain. It is an UPHILL Run (500 VERTICAL Feet at 22% Grade). Only the best take on a challenge like this!
The Fitness Headquarters Giants Dispair Challenge supports foster care and adoption in NEPA and is part of the Valley's Fastest Man/Woman Series. Start line and registration is 1/2 mile up hill from the Fitness Headquarters Store on E. Northampton St.
Prizes
A total of $2,000 in prize money is given away. $500 to the fastest man, $500 to the fastest women, $250 to the fastest male master division winner and $250 to the fastest female master division winner. The remaining cash will be divided between the second and third place overall finishers.
